Thoughts:

I absolutely adore Blythe Baird. She is probably my most favourite feminist poet and anti-rape activist. She is not a victim. Never has been a victim. She is a survivor who lives with her deepest regrets of not reporting the crimes that were inflicted upon her... She blames herself for the abuse that happened after they were done with her. She blames herself, not reporting the crimes, for the crimes committed to the girls and women after her. She uses her guilt and regret to beg girls and women to report their rapes and assaults... She pleads for females to stand up and say "No" or "This man is a rapist". I found her while I was looking through artists and other poets who write and paint about rape culture and feminism. Blythe isn't saying men don't get raped too, she is saying that for every girl she knows who has been assaulted (all of them), she has only known a few to be males. Why? Because men have been "trained" to fight and stand up for themselves and women have been "trained" to be polite and obedient.
